Farhood Malek

Farhood is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional at Smith Barney where for the past 10 years he has rendered financial advice to High Net worth Individuals and Families. His expertise is in Private Banking, Estate Planning, Portfolio Management and Investment Management. Prior to joining Smith Barney, he had over 20 years management experience in the financial and commodities sectors.

Farhood received his BA in Economics from National University of Iran and his MBA degree from Western Illinois University, Macomb, IL in 1975.

He is the Past National President of the Iranian American Republican Council, Director of the Greater Houston Pachyderm Club and member of the Rotary Club, World Affairs Council and several other civic organizations.
